One community per deployment. The operator runs a Rust backend (Docker, Postgres, S3). You connect directly.

Ping doesn't route your traffic for you. Servers can run as a Tor hidden service; to reach one you use the Ping app (desktop or mobile, Tor bundled, zero setup) or open it in Tor Browser. Clearnet servers work in any browser.

HOW PING WORKS✕

No accounts — both client and server have their own keys. The whole flow:

KEY

The client generates an Ed25519 keypair on your device — or import one you already have.

CLIENT

Open Ping in your browser or Tor Browser today, or in the desktop / mobile app (Tor bundled in) COMING SOON™

SERVER

Paste the server's Ping address and connect. If it has a clearnet alternative, you can use that too. Hop between many from one client.

TALK

Text & voice channels, threads, and post-quantum E2E PMs the server can't read.
